VT 10 Advantages
Our injected molded, fiber reinforced blades with U.V. protection provide several advantages: Injection molding allows extreme accuracy and uniformity of the blade shape and weight resulting in increased efficiency and performance. Ventera blade sets are automatically balanced. If a single blade is damaged only the damaged component needs to be replaced. Our blades never delaminate.
The VT10 Nacelle is composed of single one piece aluminum casting of 100% environmentally friendly recycled aluminum and one piece cast iron stator housing. We believe the VT10 to be the most environmentally friendly wind turbine in it’s class made anywhere in the world!
All excess weight has been designed out of the VT10 while maintaining superior durability. Contrary to some industry thinking our revolutionary lighter weight design actually increases durability and survivability by reducing tower loads. Our lighter weight design, with fewer parts and materials also reduces shipping, installation, maintenance, and overall material cost reducing the cost to the consumer.

The VT10 is designed to last a minimum of 25 years. All our components have been over engineered to provide years of reliable service.

We have gone to great lengths to produce a low maintenance machine. The VT10 only requires maintenance inspection once every five years or 125,000 kWh. With sealed bearings and very few moving parts, the VT10 is easy to work on. Our broad offering of tilt down/tilt up towers eliminate hiring cranes for maintenance saving the client money and reducing the carbon emissions in deploying a crane.
